GREETINGS TO ALL!!! After graduating high school I joined the Marine Corps, got married shortly before I ended my 5 1/2 year term and was blessed with a
beautiful baby girl who is about to be 5. I then moved to KY with my parents for 3 months and I later joined the Navy. My total service is now over 10 years and I'm looking to retire out of the military. I am currently stationed at NAS Jacksonville, FL. It feels weird just thinking that I've been out of school for over 10 years and on top of that I'm about to hit the big 30!!!

I am happily married as of July 2006 to the most wonderful women, Lora. We had our first child (Alexander Justin) on October 28, 2007. I am currently working in production management at K. Van Bourgondien. We own our home in the Western Branch area of Chesapeake. I look forward to seeing all of you in 2012.

I recently received a degree in Korean from the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA and have finished my time in the Army and have a job in Mooresville, NC as an Advanced Technology Instructor with Emerging Technology Support, LLC. My wife and I are selling our home in Tennessee and are looking forward to the next chapter in our lives in North Carolina. I hope life is treating everyone well.

I am still living in Hampton, VA, raising my beautiful and vibrant little girl Angela. I'm looking forward to graduating ODU next year with a BS in Psychology and moving on to Graduate School soon after. I've served 8 1/2 years in the Army National Guard and am still working as a Marketing and ISS contractor for The Army Distributed Program on Fort Monroe. Life is great and I hope that everyone is doing well!

Just after High School, I helped my father run his automotive business and I volunteered as an EMT with the City of Va Bch (Kempsville)...The most educational hobbie I've ever had!!! I was married and had my first child (a little girl) in 1999, My son was born in 2003...I am currently Assistant Service Manager at Hall Chevrolet in Western Branch, and I live with my husband and children in the Simonsdale section of Portsmouth...Can't wait for the reunion, I am looking forward to seeing everyone!!!

Ashley's the Assistant Customer Service Manager at the Food Lion on Moses Grandy Tr. by the waterway, and I'm working my tail off as an HVAC Mechanic. I am so happy to see everyone doing well. I am also doing well in Gaithersburg, MD (DC metro area) with my husband of 7 years. We have two beautiful little girls whose pictures I will be adding later, ages 6 and 18 mos. Their names are Rihana and Tahirah, they are the joy of our lives. I have been blessed to have a career as a Wireless Procurement Manager and also provide technical support for smartphones, pda’s, laptops, etc. I can’t wait to be reunited with you all. Hello Class of '97. Ten years and where has time gone? I hope to make our class reunion and is excited to see everyone once again. My handsome husband of 9 years, DJ (Roy c/o '96) and I have recently relocated to Ramstein/Vogelweh Air Base in Germany. We have three beautiful children, Kayla 8, Desmond 6 and Dorian 2 who are adjusting well to our new location. I graduate from Bellevue University this August 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Technical Studies. We are getting older (30 is the new 20!) but I hope life is full of excitement for all my classmates and their families. See you soon!

Looks like everyone is doing just fine. Well I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2001 with a BS in Health & Physical Education and continued on to receive my Masters degree in Health Promotion in 2003. During my last year of undergrad, I got into the sport of Bodybuilding and did well enough to turn professional (after only two shows!). Six months ago I left VA and now reside in Arizona and currently work at Arizona State University as an Administrative Assistant at the Graduate School of Life Sciences.

Hello Everybody! I can't believe it's been almost a decade already! Since I fell off of the map, I have received a B.S. from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a M.A. from Webster University, and am currently enrolled in a PhD program. I am a Captain in the U.S. Air Force and married to a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps. No children just yet--life is way too busy. We're currently stationed in Charleston, South Carolina for another year or so…but I'm writing this from lovely Iraq! I hope to make it back in time to attend a reunion. Hey everybody, Rhiannon and I are so happy to hear that everyone is doing well. We got married in July 2001 after we graduated from Virginia Tech. We are currently living in Virginia Beach with our three kids Madelynn Elizabeth, Jonathan Spencer and Collin Andrew. Currently I am working in a local hospital as a Cytogenetics Lab Technologist and working on my Masters of Public Health from EVMS. Rhiannon is staying home raising the kids full time and will be heading back to school after I finish my masters. Best Wishes to all and hopefully we'll all see each other again next year.

Hello Everyone! Long time no hear from. I haven't seen most of you since graduation. I hope that you all are greeted in great spirits. A lot has happened since that day so long ago in June of 1997. Since then, I have graduated from Norfolk State University with a BS in Computer Science with an emphasis in Mathematics, taught as an elementary school teacher, got married to a Marine, became an At-Home-Mommy of two beautiful girls (Alliyah & Jaelynn) all while moving a couple of times. I am now in Jacksonville, NC stationed at Camp Lejeune. Now, I'm just waiting to see what happens next!

After reading all the wonderful news of how you all are doing, I wanted to catch you up on where life has taken me since graduating. It has been a fabulous ride that is really just getting started! In the summer of 2002 I graduated from Longwood University with my BS in Athletic Training. Along with studying, I also met a wonderful man there who played football at Hampden-Sydney College. I returned to the area to attend Old Dominion’s Graduate program for Athletic Training and worked at Virginia Wesleyan College. After earning my Master’s Degree I began working at Norfolk Academy where I am now the Head Athletic Trainer. Lee and I were engaged in September 2005 and are currently planning a September 2006 wedding and building a new home in Southampton County where we purchased 15 acres this summer. I’m looking forward to the reunion!

Hey everyone, I hope you all are doing well since I have seen most of you last. I currently reside in Chesapeake, for the next few years at least. I am working with Lenscrafters at this time and have been with them for about 6 years now, working my way up the ladder of optics. One more year and I will be a licensed optician in the state of VA, and from there I will be going back to school to finish my degree in Business Administration. I hope to see everyone at the reunion.

Currently I'm working in the Traffic department at a local television station and residing in Hampton Virginia where I purchased my condo. "Since last anyone heard from me quite a bit has changed in my life. I'm no longer the Executive Chef at Vivo Cucina or Freemason Abbey or any restaurant for that matter. In fact, I have given up the restaurant business completely. I know...what a waste of a Culinary degree. :) I now currently own my own Tile company. I have gotten engaged to the most wonderful woman I've ever met, Torey Peak . She is a Baker by trade, but she's giving that up and going to Nursing School to become an RN. Also, I am the VERY proud father of a ten month old baby girl named Isabelle August Devaney. She was born September 3rd last year and has really taught me about the miracle of life. As I type this I stand about 18 hours from closing on my new house. E-mail us anytime, I really look forward to hearing from anyone and everyone."

I'm getting ready to start my 2nd year in my Radiology program and my scheduled graduation date is June 29, 2006. I'm no longer with Larry and with my program I definitely stay busy. There's a new potential on the horizon, but nothing serious b/c we both agree school has to come first. I'm really loving radiology and once I'm finished with this and become a Registered Radiologic Technologist and after being in the field 2 years, I plan on taking a Physicians Assistant program through MCV in Richmond for Radiology. I'm very blessed and glad to see and hear that you all are doing so well. Looking forward to seeing all of you at our 10 year reunion.

A quick update on my life: I graduated from college in Georgia in 2001 and moved back home. I met my husband now, Alex, once I got back home, but he's not a Creeker, he's from Va. Beach. We've been married for over 2 yrs now and are working on having kids. We live in the Greenbrier area and I work at SunTrust Bank in Va. Beach. Well, that's what's going on with me. Mariel Brown graduated from W&M in 2001 with a degree in accounting and is working as a Senior Internal Audit and Tax Specialist for The Christian Broadcasting Network. On November 16,2002 she married Travis Johnson at Deep Creek Baptist and they currently live in the Riverwalk section of Chesapeake.

How is everyone? I am great!! I was married in November 2000 with my best friend Amber Gattis as my Maid of Honor. Now 2 years later I am expecting and am so exciting. I am due in August (yes, I will be pregnant during summer). Hope that everyone achieves goals and stays healthy!!!!

Cpl Douglas R. Weston III is in the United States Marine Corps and has been for four and a half years. He is now a Range Control Crew Chief stationed at Twentynine Palms, California as part of the training command. Basically he is in charge of a crew that controls by radio, all aircraft, ground units, and live fire exercises for the 937 square mile range training base. He is also a civilian pilot and fly quite frequently in his off duty time. He is working slowly but surely at a bachelors degree in business management, so he can continue on in the military as a commissioned officer and a military pilot.
