Greetings all! Sarah and I are
loving life out in the Southwest Pacific - Guam to be exact! I'm a
Captain in the Air Force (10 years in now) and have been stationed in
Guam about 5 months now. Sarah and I had our second son, Jadon Emanuel
in 2006. We are having a great time and definitely miss the 'Creek!
Darrell Gary
Although I am still a nurse, it
is nice to spend time making a difference in children's lives. (Let's
just hope it's a positive one! haha)
Tracy Zortman Swinehart
I AM STILL HERE IN DEEP CREEK. I
HAVE BEEN WITH MY HUSBAND FOR 14YRS AND I HAVE 3 BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN. IN
JULY OF 2002 I HAD A GASTRIC BYPASS AND WENT FROM 405PDS TO 185PDS,ALSO
MARCH OF THAT SAME YEAR I LOST MY DAD "THE MAYOR OF DEEP CREEK" MIKE
MILER TO DIABETES.
KELLIE MILLER ALLISON
After 15 years, my partner and I
moved back to Deep Creek in 2006. In April 07, we added boy/girl twins
to our family and life hasn't been the same since!
Shannon Bennett
Steve“Goose” Smith here, I married my wife Traci in 2005 and we
currently live in Western Branch. I have a B.S in Education and a M.Ed.
in School Administration. I am currently an Assistant Principal for
Suffolk Public Schools and my wife is an LCSW for a private counseling
service.
Christopher Spivey
was murdered in 1995 (case remains unsolved
to this date).
I've started a myspace page to help and to inform
everybody.

I married Tracy Possinger
from PA in May 2002. I am a Firefighter, Real Estate Investor, New Homes
Builder and I own a Hair Salon. I had a baby girl last June. Her name
is Emma Caroline. We are adopting our two nieces Mckenzie Lee and Hallie
Elizabeth. I can’t wait for it to be final.
Michael Thompson
Tammy Ryland Krepps and
her husband Brad became the proud parents of a baby boy, Joshua Ryan, on
November 28, 2006. He entered the world in Newport News, VA at 7lbs,
12.7 oz and 21 inches long. Mom, Dad and Joshua are all doing great!
Allison Brown Taylor (C/O 94) and Sonny
Taylor are proud to announce the arrival of their son HAYDEN ELLIOTT
TAYLOR on April 20, 2006.
I am living in Suffolk, Virginia now and own a
production company. I plan on moving this year!
Melvin Lee Barcliff
I Graduated
from NSU in 1995 with a BA in Sociology. I met my beautiful wife, Tonya, while
in college. We married in 1996 and are blessed with 3 beautiful
children, Marcellis, Maya & Makayla. I am currently working as the
Sales Manager at Greenbrier Volkswagen in Chesapeake. My family and I
reside in Millers Run in Deep Creek of course!!!
Farley Perkins
2nd Lieutenant Darrell Gary and Sarah
Coleman (class of 1992) are the proud parents of a baby boy. Matthew
Elijah Gary was
born in Warner Robins, Georgia on September 27, 2004, weighed 6 lbs 7 1/2
oz, and was 19 inches long.
Coleen O' Leary married my high school
sweetheart, Chris Stout in October 1997. They moved down to
Charlotte, NC in 1996. They have no kids yet despite their family's
pleas. They're both enjoying life "kid-free".
Vandisha Wilder (Bunch) is married with 3
kids, two girls and a boy and is currently residing in Hampton.
CONGRATULATIONS TO
SHANNON GREEN-BARNES WHO JUST HAD HER 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO HER GREAT
HUSBAND BRYAN BARNES ON AUG.17TH. THEY LIVE IN DEEP CREEK.
KIM HUNDLEY-FRANKLIN HAS 1 CHILD, 6YRS.OLD &
MARRIED IS TO BRANDON "DINGER" FRANKLIN.
Leroy Ricks
is the boys basketball coach @ Deep Creek.
Congratulations to Sonny Taylor & Allison
Brown (Class of 94) who were married on February 14, 2003.
They will reside in Deep Creek.
Those of you who know
Jimmy Allen and Laura Franke may remember them as childhood sweethearts many times through the years. They attended elementary school
at G. A. Treakle, and first met in second grade. Although they drifted apart after high school,
Jimmy and Laura finally found their way back together. Their marriage took place at Elizabeth Manor Country Club on
June 1 2002. Congratulations to both of them!!!
