*****CLASS NOTES*****
Teresa Kindler (CO 82) and I just celebrated our 20th anniversary
on June 20th Katie is going into the 12th grade at Hickory High. Already looking
at some Colleges. Zach will be in the 7th grade at Hickory Middle( acts just
like dad.. Scary) Teresa is teaching 3rd grade at Butts Roads Intermediate. Me,
I'm now the Fire Prevention Chief for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Hope all of
y'all are doing well.
Tim Mizell :)
Hi everybody! I live in Roanoke, VA and have
been happily married for 22 years! We have one son, Willis Greenstreet III who
is 13 and a rising 8th grader at Cave Spring Middle School. He has the wonderful
musical talent of his dad - definitely not me. He plays the alto sax, tenor sax,
guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, picks at the keyboard and sings. I work for
Delta Dental of Virginia in the IT department and have gone back to school at VA
Western to work on an IT degree. My husband Willis is the interim pastor at our
church, Central Baptist, here in Roanoke. I still visit the area as my dad still
lives there in the same house he and mom built 48 years ago- mom passed away in
October from cancer. God has blessed us tremendously with many opportunities for
ministry. Not long ago we had the opportunity to minister in Nicaragua for a
week, giving out food, clothing, toys and the gospel. God bless,

I STILL LIVE IN THE DEEP CREEK AREA. I HAVE 3 WONDERFUL
KIDS AND 1 BEAUTIFUL GRAND DAUGHTER THAT'S 3. MY 2 GIRLS HAS GRADUATED FROM
DEEP CREEK AND NOW IN COLLEGE IN THE MEDICAL FIELD. MY SON IS A SENIOR THIS
YEAR AT DEEP CREEK. HE PLAYS FOOTBALL, RUN INDOOR AND OUTDOOR TRACK. LOOK

Marvelette Satterfield Cason
U.S. Army after graduation ~ Graduated
from San Jose State University, San Jose, California (BS applied sciences) St.
Leo College (AA Business) ~ Employed by The Virginia Department of
Transportation as a Architect / Engineering Programs Manager. ~ Married to
Sheila Brown ~ One child, a son named Ridge (10 yrs old) ~ I live in Suffolk, VA
after relocating from California ~ My favorite quote: I count him braver who
overcomes his desires than he who conquers his enemies; for the hardest victory
is over self. ~ And finally, LIFE IS WONDERFUL!!!
Tyrone Brown
I still live in the Deep Creek area I have 3 wonderful kids
and a beautiful grand daughter that's 3. The 2 oldest have graduated from Deep
Creek and how in college in the medical field my son is a senior this at deep
creek he football, run indoor and outside track. Look for number 9 at

Marvelette Satterfield Cason
I recently married and live back in the
Deep Creek area. My husband's name is Keith and I have one son, named
Brian who is in his Junior year at Deep Creek High School and plays the
baritone in the marching band. I recently was promoted to Principal at
Deep Creek Middle School as of July 1, 2006. I look forward to seeing
everyone at the Class Reunion next month. Sincerely

How's everyone
from the class of '81 doing? My husband and I have settled into our new home in
the metropolis of Corinth, New York (upstate) also known as the gateway to the Adirondacks.
Our son recently turned 20 and is a member of our local volunteer fire
department. He has been a volunteer fireman since the age of 17, even after
seeing the tragic event of Sept. 11th. I am very proud of him, can you tell? I
am currently employed in the Waterford-Halfmoon Union Free School District as
the Guidance Secretary. This is a k-12 all in one building. A big difference
from good old Deep Creek. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy and safe New Year.

Hello class of 1981!!!! I just want to say hello and see
what's up! When is the next class reunion? Also does anyone remember
Kimerick Vick????? He lived in Camelot class of 1982, well I would just
like to say hello to him. Also any Chorus members please e-mail me, I'm about to
release a smooth jazz cd (Monroe Parker, I know you wrote music, do you still do
that?) anyway , the title of the cd is "Pretty Smooth". Funny how I
can remember singing in the Miss Deep Creek Pageant....wow there's a blast from

Waller. They have two children, also DCHS grads! Both
are in college now.
Hello all! I am living in Memphis, TN
(home of Elvis and the Blues). I have five children, 22, 20, 18 and twin 10 year
olds. I am happily married! I work for EIS as Inside Sales-doing well in
my career. I have been back to the "Creek" several times over the last
few years & hope to back for good sometime in the near future. Well, hope to
see everybody again someday soon!
